From Asheville East I-40 - Take Exit 81 (Sugar Hill Road); Turn right and follow the road past the truck station; elementary school, and a long fence bordering a pasture. As you come to the end of the fence follow the road to the right toward Lake Lure. Follow this road for about 7-8 miles ( past Sugar Hill Store, and then past another smaller convenience store on your right. About 1/2 mile past the 2nd store the road you are on, Cove Road, will make a sharp curve to the left. In the middle of the curve turn right onto Bill's Creek Road. Go about 2 miles and the turn left at Boland Dr. (gravel road/sign on road). Go about 1/2 mile and turn right down a paved driveway and park in the gravel lot. You have arrived!!
From Morganton, Hickory, Statesville West I-40 - Take Exit 81 (Sugar Hill Road). Turn left and pass over the interstate, go through a traffic light and then follow the directions above.
From Lake Lure or Hwy 9 South Carolina - Follow 64/74 around the lake. Pass Larkin's on the Lake, The Point of View Restaurant; the golf course, and then cross over the Broad River. Shortly after passing the Broad River take a left onto Bill's Creek Road. Follow Bill's Creek Road pass the library, fire station, Bill's Creek Hardware, Dalton's General Store, and the Whitehouse Community sign. (this is approximately 7 miles). Turn right at the Boulderline zip line sign onto Boland Dr.. Follow about 1/2 miles and turn right down the paved driveway and park in the gravel lot. You have arrived!!!!!!!!
